PRESEODIGITAL

What we collect, and why.

A plain-language notice covering the public website and the client portal. Last updated September 2026.

Who is responsible

PRESEO Digital, a studio established in South Africa, is responsible for the information described here. Questions about this notice, and requests about your information, go to the studio's Information Officer at info@preseodigital.com.

The enquiry form

When you send a project enquiry, we store:

Spam checks run on the server: a hidden field that bots tend to fill in, a minimum time between opening and sending the form and, when enabled, a Cloudflare Turnstile check. None of these stores anything about you on our side.

We use this to understand the project, reply with questions, a scope and a quote, keep a record of the enquiry, and see in aggregate which channels bring enquiries. Submitting the form asks PRESEO to review the project. It does not create a contract and does not guarantee a quote.

AI assistance

The form may use an AI model to draft the brief and suggest follow-up questions. When it does, only your project answers are sent to the AI provider. Your name, email address and phone number are never sent. If the AI service is unavailable, the brief is built directly from your answers instead, and the form works the same way.

Email

Enquiries and portal notifications are sent through a transactional email provider. You may receive an acknowledgement when an enquiry arrives, an invitation when a portal account is created for you, and updates about your own projects. We do not send marketing email unless you ticked the separate, optional marketing box, and you can opt out at any time by replying to any message.

The client portal

Clients with an active project are given an account in the client portal. For that account we hold:

Each client sees only their own projects. That rule is enforced on the server and in the database, not just in the browser. Within PRESEO, access is limited to the people working on the project.

Where it is stored

Enquiries, portal accounts, project records and files are stored in a database and private file storage managed by PRESEO with a hosted database provider. Internal notes we add while reviewing an enquiry or running a project are private and never shown to clients.

Draft saved in your browser

While you fill in the enquiry form, your progress is saved in your own browser so you can come back to it. Nothing is sent to PRESEO until you press send. You can clear the saved draft at any time with the button on the form.

Cookies

The public website sets no analytics or tracking cookies. Two strictly necessary cookies exist: one that keeps you signed in to the client portal, and one that keeps PRESEO staff signed in to the private admin area. Visitors who do not sign in receive neither. If the Turnstile spam check is enabled, Cloudflare may set its own cookie on its own domain while the enquiry form is open.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to marketing. Email info@preseodigital.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with how a request was handled, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top will be updated.
